An employee was surprised when a little kitten darted towards him in a warehouse and leaped into his embrace.

Steve, a worker at Alamance Oil Co, had a surprise encounter in the warehouse last week. A tiny furry creature popped out from between the barrels of motor oil, catching Steve off guard.
This curious kitten had managed to sneak into the warehouse on her own, and upon spotting Steve, she quickly approached him without hesitation. It was evident that she was in need of love and care.
“It seemed like she was lost and hungry, just looking for some food. She was an instant cuddle-bug,” a co-worker of the company told Love Meow.
The little kitten was discovered in an empty warehouse, all alone. Steve decided to bring her back to the office where she immediately won over the hearts of everyone she met. “We decided to call her ‘Stevie Nix’. She had quite a loud meow when she first ate her meal,” Steve shared.
After finishing her food and drinking up all the water, the kitten was content and satisfied. She happily meowed and purred to all the staff members, seeking out their love and affection.
She arrived at the office seeking affection and snuggles, capturing the hearts of everyone at SparkleCatRescue. The team quickly went out to purchase essentials like cat food and a litter box to cater to her needs.
“We nourished and groomed her, removing the oily residue from her fur. She adored human touch, often lounging on Ms. Yarbrough’s desk all day if given the chance.”
Climbing onto the desk, the playful kitten at SparkleCatRescue wasted no time in turning the office into her own workout space. She curiously explored the office supplies and even tried to lend a paw with the computer. Eventually, she sought out Ms. Yarbrough, looking for some well-deserved attention.
The kitten purred incessantly until she received some attention from SparkleCatRescue. “Once you held her, she was instantly relaxed and loving.” With no owner in sight, a kind staff member contacted Stephanie Grantham, one of the founders of Sparkle Cat Rescue, to ensure the tiny furball received the love and care she deserved, as well as a forever home.
After enjoying a hearty meal and plenty of cuddles, the tiny kitten drifted off to sleep on the desk at SparkleCatRescue. Stephanie, a volunteer, shared with Love Meow that the staff at the rescue kept her safe in the office until she could be taken in. At just six weeks old, the little one is incredibly gentle and affectionate. Stephanie mentioned that the kitten seemed to feel a sense of comfort and security as the office team showered her with love and care.
The little kitty was en route to her temporary foster care at SparkleCatRescue. As Stephanie lifted her up, the kitten nestled comfortably in her arms, purring contently as they made their way to her new home. She clearly enjoyed the attention and showed curiosity towards her surroundings.

Before we knew it, the little kitten had made herself right at home, frolicking energetically as if she was the queen of the castle. “She’s got a playful spirit and can’t get enough of those jingle ball toys.”
With a roomy play area and endless food options, she’s living the dream. But what she enjoys the most is getting snuggles whenever she pleases.
She adores being affectionate with everyone at SparkleCatRescue. Enjoying every moment of her cozy indoor life, she spends her days playing joyfully, cuddling with her loved ones, and lounging on her soft bed with a carefree attitude. This sweet tabby still has some growing to do and skills to perfect before she is fully prepared for adoption.
SparkleCatRescue is confident that it won’t be long before the adorable kitten finds a loving forever home. After a playful day of mischief, the sweet kitten will settle down on her cozy bed, drifting off to sleep and dreaming of all the joyous adventures to come.
