One day, a guy was in search of a furry companion when he stumbled upon a cute kitten with a unique crossed-eye feature. Despite her struggle to find a home due to this trait, the man was immediately drawn to her and decided to give her a loving forever home.

Garrett Nabors, a resident of Raleigh, North Carolina, had always wanted a pet and finally decided that a cat would be the perfect companion. While he was in the process of searching for his furry friend, his colleague, who happened to be a foster volunteer, showed him a picture of a kitten named Poodle on her phone.
Poodle, a tabby cat, was discovered under a house near a construction site. After being placed in foster care, she received the necessary care and attention to nurse her back to health. What made Poodle stand out was her charming crossed eyes and lovable personality.
“My colleague mentioned that she had a few other cats at the time, all named Noodle, Doodle, Poodle, and Oodle. While the rest had found their forever homes, Poodle was still looking for hers due to concerns about her eye,” Garrett shared with Love Meow.

As soon as we laid eyes on her, our hearts were stolen. We knew we had to bring her home with us, and so we did the next day,” Garrett shared.
“When we visited her at her foster home, she greeted us with a playful energy and zero shyness. It was clear that she was a confident little furball.”
Poodle’s endearing cross-eyed gaze only adds to her charmingly unique personality.

“Although she can be a bit clumsy at times, she has no trouble with her sight,” shared Garrett with Love Meow.
The tabby cat absolutely loves her human dad and is always by his side. Poodle is the first thing he sees in the morning and is eagerly waiting for him at the door when he returns from work.

“When I come back from work, all she does is meow until I lift her up and let her nibble on my nose and snuggle up to my face. It’s just too cute,” Garrett shared.
The Poodle is a constant shadow, trailing her owner around the house from the living room to the bathroom. Privacy is a thing of the past in their home.
Poodle is very persistent when it comes to getting cuddles. She always sticks by my side, leaving me with little personal space, and she’s always looking for a chance to be close to me physically.

According to @thatcatpoodle, every morning when Garrett is getting ready for work, his furry companion knows that his jacket is the final piece of clothing he puts on. As soon as he leaves the room, she promptly snuggles into the jacket, as if trying to convince him to stay a little longer. Garrett humorously mentions that it seems like she believes he won’t leave if she’s cozied up in his jacket.
