When a compassionate lady discovered a tiny kitten on the verge of death by a dumpster, the caring individuals at the Itty Bitty Kitty Committee in Charleston, West Virginia rescued her and nursed her back to health. In just 48 hours, the transformation in Gypsy the cat was remarkable!
The night Gypsy was rushed to the emergency clinic, her condition was dire and her chances of survival seemed slim. Despite the uncertainty, Dorella Tuckwiller, the founder of IBKC, gave the green light for the medical team to do everything possible to save Gypsy’s life.
After receiving a crucial blood transfusion that night, Gypsy was moved to Good Shepherd Veterinary Hospital for further treatment. Dr. Stephenson kept Tuckwiller informed about Gypsy’s condition, which remained bleak as she struggled to eat and her blood count continued to drop.
Just when it seemed like Gypsy had lost the will to fight, she surprised everyone by finding a new reason to keep on fighting!

After spending a night at the emergency clinic, the kitten was still in critical condition. However, the next day when she was moved to Good Shepherd, she had a complete transformation. Not only did she regain her energy, but she also regained her spunky cattitude.

Gypsy, the adorable feline, displayed her spirited personality when she not only perked up at the sight of food but also stood up and vocalized her opinions. She strutted around, voicing her complaints in a sassy and energetic manner.
The transformation of the kitten amazed Dr. Stephenson, according to Tuckwiller. After seeing the kitten, Dr. Stephenson messaged Tuckwiller later that day, instructing her to remove the kitten from the hospital as she was recovering well.

Upon her arrival at her temporary home, Gypsy wasted no time making herself comfortable. She darted around the house with confidence, claiming every corner as her own. With a playful attitude, she scaled the couch and devoured her meals like a true champion. This little feline sure has a sassy lioness vibe!

The tiny tortoiseshell cat has overcome obstacles and is now on a remarkable journey. “Her new parents, Emiley and Shawn, have opted to make Gypsy a permanent member of their family.
“Gypsy will always have her dad wrapped around her paw and will forever be snuggled in his embrace.”
